Anonymous, I can see your point. For me this camera still looks like a deal. First of all, you get a fast lens that will work good on low light and has a 4 times zoom all for $600. If you went out and bought a Canon Rebel and an equivalent lens, you would spend more than $600. However I guess it depends on what you consider a good deal and the percieved value. Yes nice camera except for the white discs/orbs on specular highlights..these can ruin alot of pics if your doing subjects with shiny surfaces or night shots with streetlights etc...
If i am on a Budget $600 is a lot of Money for a camera, i think. Even if not on a Budget.
