I'm rarely without my 50mm f/1.8 "fantastic plastic" Nikon lens in my bag. Considering the detail, crisp colors and versatility of this low-cost lens, I consider it a "must have" for any outing where I might want to incorporate some really shallow depth of field or the ability to get in fairly close to my subject with a fast lens.
What would be the equivalent for a DX format camera?
ReplyDelete35 mm
DeleteI believe it would be a 75mm equivalent.
ReplyDeletea 35mm would be the equivalent on a DX. If using a Canon multiply the focal length by 1.6 and for Nikon by 1.5.
ReplyDeleteive got a 50mm and a 100mm great colorfull clear pictures is the result.

ReplyDeleteGreat video.
ReplyDeleteLight, Zooming with your feet, Everything looks right, the versatility, and Bokeh are definitely five reasons why I have my 50mm.
I just need to focus better...that is all...
